Information Update for Patients

Dear Patient,

This is an update to let you know my current position in light of recent personal events.

As you may have heard, my wife tragically passed away approximately 2 months ago, after the cancer treatment options we came to Israel for, failed to help her. This has obviously been an extremely challenging time for me; and I am extremely grateful to all my patients; for your understanding, patience, support and condolences.

I am currently having to assess how to take forward my present personal situation; and in that context, how to best serve you and all your ongoing eye-care and vision-care needs.

I expect to be able to update you further in one month; and would appreciate your continued patience and understanding until then.

In the meantime, my interim patient-support arrangements remain in place:

(a) For best response, and in the first instance, please email me at hkahanoptics@yahoo.com If you are unable to email, please send Text or WhatsApp message to 07970 88 22 23.

(b) For contact lens patients, full supply and support services are in place. As you start your last month's supply of lenses please email us, or call Marge on 07812 064 732, and we will inform you when your new supply is ready to be collected.

As a last resort to either of the above, you can leave a voice message on 0208 455 8883.

(c) For when more hands-on services are needed, I am extremely grateful to Mr Bhavin Shah, a very capable, caring and highly professional award-winning colleague (Contact lens Practitioner of the Year 2020 & 2019; Technology Practice of the Year 2020) who has kindly agreed to step in as needed, until the situation becomes clearer. He shares our attitude of putting patient care and satisfaction as top priority.

Mr Shah is situated nearby, at 327 Regents Park Road, N3 1DP (near Pardes House School). His telephone no is
0208 343 1122. There is easy, convenient parking right outside the practice.

With your permission, he will potentially have full access to any records, as necessary; and full confidentiality will be maintained.
